The portable DVR records color video onto an SD memory cards, the unit can support up to a 2 gig SD card. Video is recorded to an SD memory card in AVI format, which is compatible with virtually any PC for easy playback. Once the SD card is full, it will delete the oldest video and it will record over it. You never have to worry about your card running out of memory!

The video is divided in to 5 minute segments. Each file is approximately 100mb, so a 2GB SD card can record for up to 100 minutes. It comes with a video cable which will allow you to playback on a TV or any video device with RCA video inputs. It is very easy and compact to install. It also has a built in laser pointer to you will always have the Car DVR pointed in the right direction.
