Motion Detect
Motion detection is a feature that a lot of homes and
business will use very often. There
is a setting in this system to only record when motion is detected.
This motion detection feature is prefect in many cases.
In a business, business owners might set their motion
detection at night time, so the
security camera
monitoring the business will turn on when they detect motion. That way, the
system will not record continuously.
When the Motion Detect feature is turned on, the recording will start when
somebody moves in the view of the cameras.
Once the person is not in sight of the camera, the DVR will stop
recording. This feature is important if you want to save hard drive space.
Business owners and home owners prefer having this feature for when they
review the videos. This feature
keeps them from having to watch continuous video of nothing happening.
Using this feature, you can easily capture the recording with movement.
The DVR Records at a 30 frames per second (Real Time)with a resolution of
720 x 480 and can be adjusted to record at a lower setting if desired.
Scheduled Recording
With this 16 Channel
H.264 Stand Alone DVR system,
you can choose to record only the days and hours that you want.
You can set the DVR system to record continuously during set hours and
also set it to record only Motion Detection on set hours.
This is useful for businesses.
The business owner can set the DVR system to record continuously during
the open hours of their business and then during the off hours of their
business, they can set the recording to be Motion Detection only.
Loop Recording
This feature allows you to not worry about deleting old
recordings. The loop recording means
that it will record over the oldest footage that is on your hard drive.
If you do not want the DVR system to record over the old videos, you can
choose to turn the Loop Recording feature off.
