This is the Asianwolf PV-700 one touch portable, digital video recorder.
The main feature of the PV-700 compared with other units is a 1-touch recording button. Instead of shuffling through menus, like other recording devices, the user can press 1 button and the unit will begin recording. The unit has audio and video inputs so that you can add external cameras or video sources. We have several cameras that are recommended for this unit, such as our Button and screw camera, our Tie cam, and our book cam.
The PV-700 is meant for any sort of covert applications and can be used by people, such as, law enforcement, military, and security.
The PV-700 can also be set to be a motion detector. When any movement comes in to view of the camera’s lens it will automatically begin recording.
The PV-700 also includes a Velcro holster that fits securely onto your belt, or a law enforcement or military utility belt. Its unique holster design allows the officer to utilize the 1-touch record button.
The PV-700 has a menu button, audio/video outputs that you can view on a TV or monitor and it also has a USB port so that you can plug it directly in to your computer. It will act as a hard drive so that you can view or transfer files back and forth.
This portable DVR unit also includes an SD card slot and comes with an AC adaptor to recharge your battery. The maximum capacity is 16 GB SDHC card , which will allow you to record over 16 hours. This unit has three different resolutions that you can record on. The lower the resolution, the longer the recording time will be. The recording resolutions are 720x480, 640x480, and 320x280.
The unit also includes a reset button in the event that the unit freezes up due to a faulty SD card or programming, so that you can reset the unit and restart. You also have the IR port to receive inputs from the provided remote control.
The PV-700 comes with a remote but does not require the remote to run. It has control buttons on itself as well as on the remote. It also has a DC 12V out slot.
The included rechargeable battery will last for approximately 2 to 3 1/2 hours when fully charged, depending on how you use the unit.
