The PV500-button combo's main feature of this design compared with other units is a 1-touch recording button. Instead of shuffling through menus, like other recording devices, the officer can press 1 button and the unit will begin recording. The unit has audio and video inputs so that you can add external cameras or video sources. We have several cameras that are recommended for this unit. The PV-500 also includes a Velcro holster that fits securely onto your belt, law enforcement or military utility belt. Its unique holster design allows the officer to utilize the 1-touch record button. The Unit has a menu button, audio/video outputs that you can view on a TV or monitor and also has a USB port so that you can plug it in directly to your computer, and it will act as a hard drive so that you can view or transfer files back and forth. It also includes an SD card slot and comes with an AC adaptor to recharge your battery. The maximum capacity is 2 GB, which will allow you to record over 2 hours. The recording resolution is 720 x 480. The unit also includes a reset button in the event that the unit freezes up, due to a faulty SD card or programming, so that you can reset the unit to restart. You also have the IR port to receive inputs from the provided remote control. The High resolution Neck TIE Camera is an innovative covert camera that has been designed to work with the PV500 mini SD high resolution recorder. It fits like a normal tie , and provides a high quality 450 TV lines resolution video in color, with a high density microphone for audio recording.
