It uses a standard web browser i.e. Internet Explorer or Firefox, both of which are free to download. IP camera has the ability to stream full video and audio through your cat5 cable to your router. Most IP camera will draw its power from the cat5 cable. Another good thing about IP cameras is that it has the ability to record from a remote location. If you are on the road, you can use your Iphone or any other Smartphone to view the live video feed from any where in the world.
